Death to the Fakers

Isn't it amazing how many ordinary people seemed to be paying close attention to the political rhetoric during the primaries and election? Now the rhetoric continues, but the only thing they are focusing on now are their stock portfolios, bank statements, and home equity. Unless, Nov.4th's election warped us into another space, time, and reality –
YOUR MONEY AINT CHANGED!

What has is your committed focus on the political process that you believe really represents your voice, and its ability to reflect your true sentiments. Sense we know people focus on things they care about, it is painfully clear that you are no different than any of those other people who will throw their candidate, party, and nation under the bus for pieces of green paper in your wallet or for approved credit apps at the bank.

Are you truly a Patriot? Or are you a Treasoning Hypocrite? Tough times call for tough answers.

NO MORE BAILOUTS! LET THE FREE MARKET REIGN & THE PENDULUM OF RESPONSIBILITY SWING!!!

~BIG 3 BAILOUT~ not again

Subscribe to Official Blog of Willie and Marisa by Email

After the Paulson $700 billion bailout package passed in early October, we knew it was only a matter of time before Congress moved to use your money yet again to bail out a struggling industry.

Now, a vote to give funds to the "Big 3" auto manufactures, GM, Ford, and Chrysler, is likely to come up in the Senate tomorrow.

Call your Senators today and ask them to oppose bailing out the auto industry, whether with funds from TARP, revisions of previous loans, or any new grants. To find the information for your Senators, click on our "States" page and look for your state. Phone numbers and links to contact forms can be found near the bottom of each state's page. We have included recommended letters at the end of this email to send your Senator.

The ultimate fate of the auto industry bailout remains uncertain, and it is crucial that we contact our Senators today and urge them to stick to the Constitution and free market principles.

Please also consider making a donation to Campaign for Liberty today to aid us in our efforts to fight big government policies at the local, state, and federal levels. Together, we will achieve our goals of reclaiming our Republic and restoring our Constitution.

In Liberty,

John Tate

President

The following letters need to be put in the email, whether as attachments or however you want to do it. The first should be labeled, "For Republican Senators". The second should be labeled, "For Democratic or Independent Senators".

Letter #1

Dear Senator (Name),

I urge you to oppose any bailout of the auto industry, whether by taking existing funds from TARP, revising any previous loans, or making new grants.

The auto industry is lobbying hard for taxpayer money when they should be entirely focused on restructuring their companies and recouping their losses. There is no guarantee that a government handout will have any positive effect, and that GM, Ford, and Chrysler will not be back in a few months asking for additional billions.

Since a bailout will only delay the economic consequences of the Big 3's current predicaments, Congress should allow the market to work so that the fallout can be dealt with and overcome as quickly as possible.

Instead of handing out more of the taxpayers' money and moving further away from the free market ideas that made America great, I ask you to:

1.) Curb regulation: The auto industry is already one of the most heavily-regulated industries, and a bailout will bring more government regulation and additional costs. Alleviating even a little of the red tape would free up resources for them to address their financial situations, save jobs, and produce quality products to jump-start sales.

2.) Cut taxes: Cutting corporate and capital gains taxes would give these companies immediate funds to put toward their problems. Cutting individual income taxes would return much needed money to workers and consumers, strengthening their financial positions and purchasing power during these turbulent times.

Taking just these two steps will save the industry far more in the long run than the numbers currently being proposed for the bailout.

Additionally, because the Paulson TARP plan has abandoned its originally stated purpose of buying toxic assets, is not holding up its promises to be transparent, and has not been properly accountable to Congress, no further expenditures should be authorized until the Treasury Department presents a full accounting to Congress of how it has already dispersed TARP funds.

Since the election, Republicans have talked of returning to their limited government message. This is a chance for you to prove your committment to free market capitalism and the freedom philosophy by demonstrating that the Republican Party will be worthy of our trust in the next Congress. A vote for another bailout will send the signal that, despite any lip-service paid to limited government principles, Republican talking points of defending them are cheap and little more than campaign rhetoric.

The answers to our economic problems cannot be found in further government intervention. As your constituent, I urge you not to put my tax dollars on the line and to vote "no" on the auto industry bailout.

Sincerely,

Supporter of Liberty

Ron Paul - Congress asking for more money

Dr. Paul's latest Texas Straight Talk: With news this week that Congress is poised to consider a new stimulus package, I am forced to again ask a question that seems silly in Washington: How will we pay for this?
While a few Members of Congress have raised the issue, it certainly was not the primary concern of the House Budget Committee when they interviewed Ben Bernanke on Monday. And, when they did direct this question to the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, his answer was the standard rhetoric about how Congress needed to make tough choices. Needless to say, not many specifics were discussed.
One of the most liberal members of the House, Barney Frank, has at least volunteered something of a suggestion: We can let Iraq take care of itself. This, of course, goes in the right direction, but hardly far enough.
We need to declare the facts and their obvious consequences. The deficit of the United States is now spiraling out of control, and the recent bailout package has only made it worse. Our crushing federal debt is one key reason behind our current economic turbulence.
As Congress begins to consider the third stimulus package of the year, we need to realize it is time to start setting priorities. Priority number one should be cutting spending in foreign countries. This does not simply mean Iraq, but everywhere.
The next stimulus package is likely to include money for infrastructure. While these investments are, constitutionally speaking, supposed to be made by state and local governments, it is not likely that Congress will suddenly begin to pay heed to the document we are all sworn to uphold. Still, we need to acknowledge the fact that the current Congress and Administration are rushing the nation toward bankruptcy.
This being the case, we could hope they would at least come to their senses regarding our debt and foreign spending sprees. Our nations foreign-held debt is at record highs and moving ever higher. Continuing to borrow money from Red China and others in order to pay dues to the United Nations and run Plan Colombia makes no sense at all.
Our whole carrot-and-stick approach to foreign policy makes no sense. The US government simultaneously gives money to Israel, and to Egypt. We send AIDS money to Africa while AIDS clinics in America shut down. Millennium challenge funding goes to countries which enact market based reforms as we push our own country further and further into a centrally planned economy.
Economic recovery will only come through financial prudence, savings and getting back to producing things of value again. But it seems to be a foregone conclusion that we are about to enact another government initiative to stimulate the economy. Instead, there should be some serious talk about cutting all of these foreign giveaway programs. But, alas and again, we should not hold our breath. Congress is still not close to being serious about ending its addiction to debt and spending, and is again faced with the deadly temptation to attempt to spend us out of a recession. We should not forget that in the 1930s those types of efforts gave us the Great Depression.

I use to have a Comfort Zone

I used to have a comfort zone, where I knew I wouldn’t fail, The same four walls and busy work were really more like jail. I longed so much to do the things I’d never done before but stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor. I said it didn't matter that I wasn't doing much, I said I didn't care for things like commission checks and such. I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone, but deep inside I longed for something special on my own. I couldn't let my life go by just watching others win, I held my breath, I stepped outside and let the change begin. I took a step and with new strength I never felt before, I kissed my comfort zone goodbye and closed and locked the door. “If you are in a comfort zone afraid to venture out, remember ALL WINNERS were at one time filled with doubt. A step or two and words of praise, can make your dreams come true. Share this TNI Vision and have the courage to finish...Success is waiting on You…

Remember Prosperity only comes through Preparation,

God Bless and Prepare to Prosper,

Don’t be left behind This Time

Hey Family,

If there is one lesson in life I’ve learned, it is this; you never know when your life is about to change. You never know when one decision will dramatically impact your life or change your destiny!

Thomas A. Edison was once asked why is it that Most People can be at the right place at the right time and still miss an opportunity. His response was “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” I also believe people miss opportunities, because they miss judge the obvious signs looking for things that are unnatural. They look to see if the sky is Purple on that day or if the mountains have moved from their previous location. Some even check to see if the birds have stopped chirping or the wind have stopped blowing to sense an opportunity. They use every sense except common sense. I have to agree with Edison in this example! When we search the annals of history and find men or women who’ve succeeded in life or business. Rarely are they individuals that did not use the commons sense god blessed them with. For many of them, that sense was the only thing they had going for them and a little sweat equity of course.

What is it in men (women) that cause some to excel after many failures or attempts, while others quit after a single failure? Why are some men (women) filled with Fear while others seem to laugh in the face of adversity? Why are some men (women) able to acquire their Goals, Dreams and Desires this life time while others only seek to have a better life next life time? It’s these questions and more that keep me and others like me striving not to be left behind this time as Mr. Opportunity knocks.

If ever in your life time you want to hear and take advantage of Mr. Opportunity knocking. Visit www.150k-team.com for tools and resources. ~ Or you can do what you’ve always done which is waiting for the sky to turn and do NOTHING…

What happen to free Enterprise? Are we headed towards Socialism?

Subscribe to Official Blog of Willie and Marisa by Email

Hi Family,

Don't Steal…the Government Hates Competition!!! Below is a video “HOT OFF THE PRESS” about the $700 Billion Bailout congressional meeting this weekend! There are three points in this gentleman speech that I want you to catch.

POINT 1 He states the two parties (Republican & Demarcates) have been debating talking points not a bill for the last week or so. This is an interesting comment, because last week Mr. Paulson stated the slim 3 page bill now 110 pages bill has been brought before congress to review and sign quickly”. Exactly what bill was Mr. Paulson referring to and what did it contain in the small print concerning the American People wallets.

POINT 2 There were no hearings or markups posted on Thomas to keep the American public in the loop of things since we’ll be the one catching the tab. When bills are passed or debated they’re posted on “THOMAS” . The Library of congress website is where Thomas is housed and normally where you can see bills discussed like our current Bailout Bill.

POINT 3 The Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi Declared Martial Law 9-27-08. Did any of you know this and if so what does this mean. Well I decided to bring in an expert on this subject Mr. Black’s Law Dictionary. He’s been the leading voice on this subject matter since 1891. Let’s see what he has to say about this matter.

Black's Law Dictionary Definition of Martial Law:

A body or firm, strictly enforced rules that are imposed because of a perception by the country's rulers that civil government has failed, or might fail, to function. - Martial Law is usu. imposed when the rulers foresee an invasion, insurrection, economic collapse, or other breakdown of the rulers' desired social order.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrlQNz31n34

There are some interesting points made about martial law, economic collapse and or ruler’s desired social order. I understand this to mean that if too many banks or companies fail and the government say they need to bail them out, the American people have to shut up and do as the government says or be placed in lock down. Please don’t take my word for this check out the Patriotic Act http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_PATRIOT_Act section on Controversy and read the small print.

As you read this don’t read as a Democrat or Republican because when the Shit hits the fan we want be characterized by party, race, or religion. The only thing that will make a difference is will you be one of the many who stands up and say no more STOP THE LIES or will you say nothing and watch this country go to hell in a hand basket. The decision is totally up to you!!!

Crisis on Wall Street

What can I do?

The Federal Reserve's authority to use taxpayer money to bail out Wall Street must be revoked and the “Fed” must be held accountable.

Contact your representative and senator today and let them know that it is time to end the Federal Reserve's stranglehold on our economic future!

Ask them to reject the Paulson and Bernanke plan to prop up reckless banks at your expense.

(ECONOMIC STIMULUS): Right Under Your Nose

ECONOMIC STIMULUS: Right Under Your Nose

Every year right around this time thousands of parents in the United States are frantic. They have less than 60 days to transform their ribboned, star-studded, and tasseled graduating senior into a career-minded, focused, driven college student. These parents’ hopes soar with ideas that one day their future Expert in Thus-and-So or Dr. This-N-That will be highly regarded, highly respected, and most important HIGHLY PAID. The road has been long for these parents whose adulthood braggin rights rest almost solely on whether or not Jr. got into dad’s alma mater. And the sheer talk of scholarships simply makes parents giddy with ecstasy. Oh and let’s not leave out probably the most important part of this whole emotional climax; the fact that these budding young professionals who chose (forcibly) to go to college, and got accepted to dad’s prestigious alma mater (after much alumni palm greasin’), will one day be the meal ticket, I mean retirement plan, ooops uhh what I mean to say is these young people will gladly (to the beautiful melody of “after all I sacrificed to provide [blah blah blah]”) supplement the parent’s retirement lifestyle. FOREVER.

But of course, beach houses are nice, but they seem much more luxurious when someone else is paying the note. And why not wait until you’re 60+ years old to get your FIRST convertible sports coupe? And not just any coupe, but only one with a funny Foreign name and better leather seating than the living room furniture your family grew up on, right? I mean really how do you justify ever driving a $100,000 automobile (I think car prices stop around $70,000 now), when just a few weeks ago there was nearly a World War over who was using all the paper towels at the graduation party?

The irony is the same budding, bright college freshmen who witnessed this moronic behavior at their party, suspend all logic regarding their own economic future (failure). When do you start to ask your parents why they didn’t better prepare for the costs of a future they knew was coming? Hello – almost every parent with a 5 year old child will tell you they expect their children to go to college, but these same parents have no practical game plan to PAY for their college. Or how about why is it that even though moms and pops have worked at least 20 years by the time you turn 18, the house is still mortgaged? The cars are still financed? And the family vacation is always 2-4 hours drive to the same beach you went to at 8yrs old? Has it never crossed your mind why even though your parents have been “continuing their education” for the past ten years, they are still worried about job security and still don’t make a combined $200,000 annum? I mean HELLO???? what’s the point of higher education if the income doesn’t go higher, too?

People, WAKE UP!!! If you don’t start to ask some different questions real quick, you just might look up in twenty years and be just like almost every other parent who is frantic this time of year in the U.S. as they take their bright, creative children down the same damn road they went; ECONOMIC RUIN.

Is America ready for an African-American president?

Subscribe to Official Blog of Willie and Marisa by Email

I’m sure we’ve all seen the emails….some claiming Obama is the Antichrist, others claim that he has plans to change the nations national fruit to watermelon, as well as change other well known American symbols to all things Islamic. They are good for a quick laugh and then I click delete. But satirical humor aside…..are we ready? Sure, we’ve had black leaders run for office before: Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, but come on, did anyone really think they had a chance? Now today, in 2008, we have an extremely strong candidate that could possibly pull it off, but what will it mean? Yes, I know it will be a groundbreaking, historical moment! But then what? Will it mean the positive changes that Obama rallies for in his speeches for not just African-Americans but all Americans. Is he the best candidate? Does he get the minority vote because he is black? Is he a strong enough candidate to hold the fate of the free world in his hands? Can we get past all the pomp and circumstance and hype about his race and focus on his beliefs, his strategy? Or will we be more concerned with his being a black man and show favoritism just to show “the man” that we can do it too?

OJ Mayo Takes cash From Agent/Scout/Bookie!!!

OJ Mayo Takes Cash From Agent/Scout/Bookie!!!

Many people are making comments about OJ Mayo receiving thousands of dollars in cash, clothes and other benefits from BDA. The gifts were to secure a verbal agreement between OJ Mayo and BDA to represent him when he turned pro. This is a more common event in High School and College’s than people would like to let on. I attended a D-1 school in the SEC for 3 years and befriended many of the basketball and football athletes during my stent. I personally witnessed guys receive monies from boosters, girlfriends-via-scouts and Alumni. Many of them felt that the University was making tons of money off of their efforts and giving them peanuts in return. Athletes go to college to secure a great JOB in the NBA, NFL, NHL and so on. Until the NCAA reavaluates how college athletes are compensated for their efforts, this issue will only get worse. Especially since the age to jump from college to pro has been increased.

Who is Willie and Marisa?

As the saying goes “it doesn’t get any better than this”. How do two totally different people on the outside met and co-exist together to now form the dynamic duo “Willie and Marisa” passion on purpose!

Marisa ~ A high school scholar from NC who speaks two languages, studied abroad, both parents life long educators, UVA graduate, master’s candidate from Emory University who at the height of her career held down threeee jobs mannnn earning less than $50K a year.

Willie ~ The class clown from Mississippi and a jack of all trades who went from attending (but not completing) MSU, working construction, being a dealer at Sam’s Town Casino’s, hustling incense, selling body oils, and painting dolls to grossing near six figure success in the IT industry.

The thing that we did have in common when we met was that we were both sick and tired of living a life of quiet desperation. Marisa was on the verge of being evicted from her apartment and I’d just lost a home to predatory lending in Atlanta. We both knew something great was on the horizon for us, and it was becoming quite clear that it began to unfold the very moment we met.

We talked about jobs, education, travel, religion, food, past relationships, personal development, culture, economics, music “Tupac-vs-Biggie” still debating this one, ACC vs. SEC a total no-brainer ~ I mean the SEC is the better conference, cars, family, where the world is going, and what we could do to make our situation better and help others.

We settled on the conclusion that the decisions we’ve made in our lives show up in our finances and our spiritual life. Through researching other successful people, we learned that prosperity follows your ability to influence yourself to grow! Whoa talk about a news flash!

Knowing there had to be a better way of living we struck out together to find it, and nine months later we were married to the shock of many of our family and friends. Nearly two years later we started our home based business studying from the success of industry greats like: Dani Johnson, Jerry Clark, Tony Fleming, James Tucker, and Tony and Yvette Winfrey.

Since getting started, we’ve been able to lay in the bed and play footsie while most people are at work, we’ve traveled to exotic locations,
and eaten some of the finest and freshest foods on the planet!

(Marisa’s goals is to eat her way around the world, and she’s got a pretty good start.)We have paid off $36,000 in debt – having another $4,000 cancelled outright, we’ve given 3 times what we gave last year in tithes and 2008 is just getting started good. We’re even in the preliminary stages of starting a Serivce to Scholar charity for students seeking monies for college.

All this and more because we decided to step up and go to work, using the talents God blessed us with, instead of burying them in the sand like so many others have. Our hands are blessed and our union is under "The Funnel of Favor”.
